SAD NEWS!
Today we received an email from our Vietnam Adoption Agency. We have not been matched with a child. What this means: You usually get matched with a child a few weeks before you receive your official referral (picture and info about your child). Since we are not matched with a child and adoptions are ending on Sept. 1st...we will not be able to complete our adoption from Vietnam. Maura will not be coming home to us. This is very heartbreaking. As you know, our paperwork has been in Vietnam since November and we started this adoption June 07. Please keep us in your prayers..as well as all the orphans in Vietnam affected by this horrible situation.

I'm so sorry to hear that. You are not alone. What are your plans now?
Oh no!!! I am so sorry. I was thinking about that kind of thing today. That is just so sad. I hope and pray that you are able to find the right path for your family. May God shed his blessings on all of you.
The LORD will continue to lead you ---you can trust Him. My heart aches with yours, but I am so thankful that I met you on our VN journey...it is worth the pain!
Love you my sis!
Kathy
I'm so sorry to hear this. You will be in my prayers.
Huge hugs to y'all during this time.
I am so sorry to hear the news. It is not the end, just a new begining on a different path. We love you and keep you in our prayers always!

I am so sorry to hear ho wthis played out. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Does this mean they will refund you the funds you paid them to match you with a child? I know its not in the best taste to ask but It seems like they are very willing to take your money and string you along for a long time...
I so hate to hear that. You're right--it's the children who are really effected by this situation. I hope things will change soon.
I am so sorry to hear this... I will keep your family in my prayers. I will also be following your journey to Ethopian daughter.
I am sorry to hear the news, but Our Heavenly Father will continue to lead you on this journey. He has a plan and He will not fail. Trust Him. I will pray for you and for all of the other familes and children...
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We were also heading to VN, but it did not work out. My husband is now on his way home with our two children from Ethiopia.
